Hello,
I was looking to get a quote for a gaming pc build, and possibly a second opinion on the compatibility/quality of the parts I picked out. To see if you’d recommend I tweak anything.

Hi Madison! Thank you for the inquiry. Your parts list looks pretty well balanced. There’s a couple of adjustments I would recommend personally. I would go ahead and bump up to a set of DDR4-3600 RAM for your Ryzen 5 5600X and B550 motherboard. Ryzen thrives on higher clock speeds and 3600 seems to be the sweet spot. It’s not much more money to take advantage of that! Same thought process applies to your SSD. If you can swing just a little more into the budget, bump up to an NVMe Gen 4 SSD. More performance for not much more money. Lastly, I would recommend a different case. Something with a mesh front panel for better airflow. Your system isn’t one that’s going to generate a ton of heat, but more airflow is always a plus. Make sure to pick a reputable Power Supply. If you have to make cuts anywhere in your build due to budget, definitely don’t make short cuts on the power supply. You’ve got a good platform that will allow for decent budget performance right now with some room to grow as well!
