Brand Overview
Thermalright is a renowned Taiwanese brand with over 20 years of experience in the industry. We have established a strong presence in both domestic and international markets, making significant contributions to the cooler market. Our dedication to research and development has led to a diverse product lineup, including CPU air coolers, water cooler radiators, case fans, thermal pastes, fan controllers, and mounting brackets.
Unique Pump Design
The Frozen Prism features a fourth-generation pump architecture (Frozen V1.0) with a magnetic removable top cover. Its sleek octagonal design is complemented by stunning 5V ARGB lighting effects, delivering a visually captivating experience. Operating with low vibration, the all-aluminum alloy shell ensures durability, while the water block boasts a lifespan of up to 40,000 hours. The pump speed can reach an impressive 3300RPM±10%, ensuring optimal CPU cooling performance.
Advanced PWM Fan Temperature Control
Equipped with TL-E12 series fans, this CPU cooler incorporates temperature control functionality, allowing the fan speed to adjust automatically based on the temperature. Featuring a steel core copper bushing, the S-FDB bearing minimizes friction and vibration, resulting in quieter operation and extended lifespan. With a high speed of 1850RPM, these fans effectively dissipate heat from the CPU water radiator.
Enhanced Cooling Optimizations
The integrated fans of the CPU liquid cooler utilize PBT+PC insulation-grade materials. The Stably-FDB bearing design addresses fan blade shaking during lifting mode, enhancing overall stability and cooling efficiency.
Wide Compatibility
The Thermalright Frozen Prism is compatible with a range of CPU platforms:
- AMD: AM4/AM5
- Intel: 1150/1151/1155/1156/1200/2011/2011-V3/2066/1700

This is my 2nd time using this cooler for a build. Using the included thermal paste, my 12700kf sits at 27 idle and 52 MAX under load. The first build is going on 3 months with no issues at all. This is a newer cooler so we’ll see how longevity goes, but for now I have nothing to complain about.
Would highly recommend. Here’s a few things to note.
1. I built in an o11 vision. Extremely big case. The Thermalright tubes are actually smaller than most and stiffer. Because of this, the AIO actually wasn’t able to be mounted the correct way and is upside down. However, they include a black cover that blocks the logo so you don’t need to fully worry about the orientation.
2. The fans aren’t great. Extremely loud and when turned done have a small tone. However, they get the job done. I’m running them on the back of the radiator just for more airflow.
The RGB is alright, but note these are fans that cost $13 for 3, so don’t expect anything crazy.
3. The power cable is LONG. Not long enough to loop back around the case, but you definitely need to think about how you’re going to manage that cable.
Other than those small things, would definitely recommend this cooler. I’ve had a few high end brand name AIOs fail on me in a shorter time than I’ve had these, but that makes sense considering the amount I build.
5/5.

I’m running a Ryzen 9 7950x3d and this AIO works perfectly, it’s quit and keeps my temps around 40 degrees idle and 70 degrees while playing GTA5 RP online. I was a little bummed when the ARGB didn’t work, but I’m not going through the hassle returning it.
Carmello Capello –

I purchased this water cooler because the stock air cooler that came with my Ryzen 5600X wasn’t cutting it during extended gaming sessions. After about an hour of gaming, my CPU temps would spike, forcing me to stop playing. I decided to research affordable AIO water coolers and came across this one.
**Installation:**
The installation process was straightforward. It took me about an hour and a half to install, but that’s because I’m very careful and meticulous. For others, it might take as little as 20 minutes. The thermal paste that came with the cooler was dried out and unusable. Good thing I had some thermal paste laying around the house.
**Performance:**
With the AMD Wraith Stealth cooler, my CPU idled at around 49°C and would climb to 80-90°C while gaming, eventually exceeding 95°C. This water cooler completely changed the game. My CPU now idles at 32°C and tops out at 58°C during long gaming sessions. The cooling performance is outstanding, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and effective cooling solution.
**Noise Level:**
My only complaint is the noise. The fans are quite loud, comparable to the sound of a wall-mounted air conditioner. My wife jokingly says it sounds like I’m starting an airplane. While gaming, the sound isn’t as noticeable since it gets drowned out by the game audio. However, during quieter activities like browsing the internet or writing reviews, it can get annoying.
EDIT: So I just downloaded the software for my motherboard that allows me to control my system fans. I set it to smart fan and it raises and lowers the fan speeds according to temperature. This alleviated the sound by alot. as they run at about 50-60% fan speed now. Without this software they run at 100% all of the time which is why it is so loud. Even at 50-60% is still a little louder than I would like, however my noise levels went from 60dB to 43dB. That is a very large reduction in sound. According to my research here is what those sound levels are comparable too.
40 dB: A quiet office or residential area, or light rain
50 dB: Moderate rainfall or a refrigerator
60 dB: A normal conversation or an electric toothbrush
**Final Thoughts:**
Despite the noise, I find the exceptional cooling performance and affordable price well worth the tradeoff. If you’re okay with a bit of extra noise, this cooler is an excellent choice!
